Transconsult, in alliance with Egis, is defining the future of rail transport in Central America with the delivery of the "Regulation on Harmonized General Technical Specifications in Railway Matters for Central America" to the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
This regulation, which had the decisive participation of Transconsult, traces an innovative path for mobility in the region, establishing common rules and regulations that will facilitate the construction and modernization of railway projects.
The regulation, the result of a joint effort between Transconsult and Egis, and financed by CABEI, addresses essential aspects of the design, technical characteristics, operation and maintenance of railway projects. This will allow the harmonized and effective development of regional connectivity and interoperability in the rail sector.
